I wish more people would understand the genius of Tool. I suppose I should be thankful that I understand it.

Tool experiences this "actualization" and wants to share it through their music. Amazing band, with more meaningful messages than most people will ever truly realize.

Tool has always had awesome messages. The idea of self development and growth is present in many of their songs. Developing the self and understanding the conscious and unconscious aspects of your being, can be well....enlightening. People live in their shadows and never even realize it. ( Look up tool's song called 46&2). Self reflection and the drive to improve oneself will take you places you've never been before.

This song is flat out ridiculous... It just MEANS more (musically, lyrically) than most any other composition ever EVER! performed. I can't even come to terms with it, to be honest. I dunno why, but it's just exponentially powerful. You can have your Eminems and your Beatles and your Beethovens... Seriously, I don't even think TOOL themselves have reckoned what they've wrought with this song. It's transcendent...

As usual, this song almost brings tears to my eyes. I have an unconditional respect for math and you sir, have opened my eyes to a new way of viewing this album - after all these years. It is as intended - inspirational and emotion provoking. Thank you. |
