In 2005 I rode the teleferico located in the Pichincha mountain in Quito-Ecuador and me and other 3 people saw a condor flying and tryng to catch an smaller bird. I never thought I would see such a big bird flying on that mountain, due to the proximity of the city. I hope that condor is still living on that mountain.

I love to watch these huge birds walk, or hop. Regardless of their face, I still think this is a beautiful and magestic bird. I certainly hope they are able to keep their species alive! Such a shame that they have come so close to extinction.
