Max Carl (Gronenthal) grew up on a farm outside of Humphrey, Nebraska - also, my home town.Was lead singer of a truly great Lincoln, Nebraska show band, the Chancellors, during the late 60's. He was then the lead singer with another great show band, Jack Mack & the Heart Attack. Charted #6 with .38 Special and Second Chance. He's now the lead singer with Grand Funk Railroad. A truly unique and strong voice. Proud to be from the same home town.
