The second he mentioned finding the mean slope, all I could think about doing was taking the definite integral from a to b of f'(x)...Then I realised it was exactly the same as the traditional easy way. xD

Say the interval is [a,b], can C be equal to a? or just the open interval ( A point somewhere between a and b )?
