1929 Wall Street Stock Market Crash

The most devastating stock market crash in the history of the United States; Its from my favorite documentary by PBS - New York. This particular part about Wall Street crash of 1929 is from episode 5 of the series with title: Cosmopolis there are lots of archive photos, footages and drawings throughout the series and in my opinion it was great work done with finding them. series website: http://www.pbs.org/wnet/newyor... @MegaCreativekid Yeah, but the reason it got to that is because we are totally dependent on the federal reserve, and when it began to show it wouldn't work too well, the recession happened. If we didn't become so dependent on the federal reserve, this problem may have been avoided

@gmanhell94 umm the reason why we didn't go back into another depression in 2008 was because we bailed out the banks. If we hadn't our entire financial system would have been destroyed and you and anyone you know would be unemployed right now (and probably for the next 10 years). You should be thankful for the bailouts.

@Licmycat no its not coming - read a text book or the paper in DETAIL for once and you'll see we are FAR from a depression. Your fear mongering does nothing for society except make people afraid. 25% unemployment in the 1930s is very different than 8.5% today. The US economy actually grew pretty well the last two quarters.

we spend to much money on thing we do not need it are fait we do not know how to save we spend to much cale and dish it going to be bad we eat out to much we nedd to look for ways to save money now or days you can't even go to school it cost to much if peopl e do not know how to save money it going to look very bad
