I'm sorry, I was wrong. This, apparently, was taken from the STeve Allen Show in 1957. It just looks like the scene in the movie I saw.

This is from an early rock n' roll movie around 1958 which I saw when I was a kid in Toronto. You'll notice there is no guitar solo as there was on the original record.
