But in general, I would definitely say it's more common to have deathcore lyrics that focus on hate, and more mental/normal things while death metal lyrics tend to focus on [death], and more physical/weird things.

no i was saying those bands our deathcore. I was saying death metal lyrcis are not always fucked up, thats all. Deathcore has really bizarre lyrics and so does death metal but not all the time

Oceano and AHFW are both deathcore lmfao. And I'm just talking in general. I'm well aware there are death metal bands out there like Nile that don't focus on murder, torture, BONDAGE PORN, etc. But for the most part, lots of death metal bands like Cannibal Corpse do. Don't get me wrong, I love Cannibal Corpse. I'm just analyzing the lyrics of the two genres.
