Nicest styled and best running cars of the 70's, includes FoMoCo through '78! Just wish the radio hadn't been blaring!

Ford made the best station wagons: best looking, best innovations, best interiors. I wish they still made a strong, handsome wagon like this. A real beauty.

Love the car, but would like to have heard more of the car and not the music. Like listening to it rev up from inside and hearing it accelerate instead of the music you can hear any old day. Just my 2 cents.

I owned a '72 Ford Country sedan wagon I bought back in '96 off a used car lot for $300.00. I told myself if it lasts me the summer I'll be happy and it had the similar 400 engine. It had few dings, dents, no rust and ran flawlessly . I sold it to a fisherman who drove it to Alaska and ran into him last year and said he still has it, stilll runs strong. I'm a Chevy guy and owned a '72 Kingswood with the 402. It drove great though the rear power tailgate was unreliable and always leaked. |
